Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress, best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" she has been gaining some fame. An California native, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. She decided, later on to follow a career of acting. In 2010, she made her debut on screen with an episode of the CBS series "NCIS.' The biographical crime film J Edgar was her big screen debut one year later. She quickly became one of the most talented young actors on the scene throughout the decades. In 2011, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Television Series and Guest Actress 11-15. Her role as a guest on the comedy series 'Kickin' It' was nominated once more for an award called a Young Artist Award. Calvano played a part in the cast of Mom throughout its first three seasons and was featured numerous times during the fourth. She won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Best Female Actor - Rising Star, thanks to her role in 'Mom'.
